Bealls Inc. is a privately held, family-owned off-price and value retailer founded in 1915 in Bradenton, Florida. The company operates more than 650 stores across 22 states under several banners, including Bealls Florida (~68 stores), the off-price “bealls” banner formed from the 2023 merger of Bealls Outlet and Burkes Outlet (~600 stores), and the home décor banner Home Centric. Bealls Inc. is unrelated to the former Texas-based Bealls department store chain, whose name and intellectual property it purchased in 2020 after that company’s parent, Stage Stores, liquidated.
